As a member of the National Association of Manufacturers, Jor-Mac is proud to recognize MFG Day. Held annually on the first Friday in October, MFG Day seeks to promote modern manufacturing careers around the nation to students, parents, teachers and community leaders. The Manufacturing Institute’s diverse initiatives support women, veterans, students and workers through skills training programs, community building and supporting the advancement of their career in manufacturing. The Institute is the workforce development and education partner of the National Association of Manufacturers. With a labor shortage of 4.6 million jobs expected nationally over the next decade, it is important to get the word out about all the great careers that can be found in manufacturing.
